There’s something so therapeutic about laying acrylic.

Not gonna lie gel extensions were definitely getting most of my attention but once I picked and acrylic brush back up I felt at home 🥹

I like to double prime! Meaning I prime after I dehydrate but I also prime right before I begin to place the acrylic bead. Everyone has opinions on primers but this has been my method since I began doing nails & my retention has forever been A1

Trying to post more acrylic videos. I realized I had sooo many gel extension process videos and zero acrylic ones.

Personally…. I don’t love to do it because I feel like the shape of the gel x tip does get affected and they are meant to be removed but I understand the clients point of view of not wanting to soak off for every set.

If I do fill a Gel X set I only do it ONE time!!

After that fill it’s time for a new set sorry.. not sorry lol.

I also fill like the retention isn’t the same when filled and all my clients nails last 3-4+ weeks whether it’s Gel X or Acrylic.

I do soak off Gel X pretty quickly but it’s still a bit messy 😅

Overall, as long as you guys are happy, am too so 🥰

Super super easy to do with blooming gel. Blooming gel can be used for so many designs & I feel like sometimes we over complicate thing.

Posting this after Halloween but it’s still such a 🔥 design. Especially for me because I don’t like doing traditional fire flames.

In all seriousness I’m very big on customer service. That’s why if you scroll on my page almost every single set/shape looks different. I’m not the type of nail tech that only does nails one way. I want all my clients to be utterly satisfied 💕💕
The only time I’m putting my foot down is to round the edges on squared nails (we can do that after pics 🤣)

Super quick Gel X application 💕

Using @apresnailofficial Long Sculptured Square tips and Extend Gel!

I prefer using sculptured over natural when doing gel extensions because they have that ‘acrylic’ look to them!

If you feel like the nail beds are too flat then try to fill in the missing space with a little bit more extend gel.

I personally find the sculptured to hold up better when it comes to retention & shape.
